Mission Statement
The Northeast Florida chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists mission is to unite local journalists and communication professionals to advocate and represent Black voices in print, TV, radio, and digital media, while creating opportunities and connections to lay the groundwork for future generations of journalist and media professionals.
Objectives
Act as a pioneer for bridging the gaps with other local media organizations.
Foster relationships through fellowship and network opportunities.
Hone journalistic skills through workshops and educational events.
Support and collaborate with other journalists & media professionals.
Provide fundamental resources and give back to the community by working with high schools, colleges, and prospective journalists through mentorship and volunteer opportunities.
